United Parcel Service Hikes Payout 9%

UPS   The Board of Directors of package delivery and global logistics provider United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS – $100.91) declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.73 per share, up from the previous rate of $0.67, or 9%. The increase is in recognition of the company’s solid cash flow performance and commitment to delivering shareholder value. The dividend, which will yield investors 2.8% at current quotations, is payable March 10, 2015, to shareowners of record on Feb. 23, 2015. The shares of UPS are well positioned to take advantage of international economic expansion and can be held in conservative accounts.
